Sweetest Team Tennis Mar 2019 results:

1st Place: Debbie Fox and Sheila Gillis (tied with 19 wins apiece)

2nd Place: Jerry Cant and Beverly Ginsberg (tied with 18 wins apiece)

3rd Place: Charlie Monteleone with 16 wins

4th Place: Ellen Carr, Peter Fralick, Ruby Leong and Bambi Montag (tied with 15 wins apiece)

Most enthusiactic players award (sweet treats) went to Renee Cochran and Marsha Turbett.

Everyone had a fun time in this three (3) round, random pick draw that partnered folks together. Teams played a total of eight (8) games per round, keeping whatever games they won.

Our Meet 'n Greet on Friday, Feb 1, 2019 was well attended. Members had fun trying to figure out who played with a "weed" raqcquet, who attended a U.S. Open match, and several other questions that prompted conversations with fellow members. We had appetizers, wine, sandwiches and a cake and a jolly, good time!

Turkey Trot 2019: Winners: Indians and Runners up: Pilgrims, Pumpkins and Turkeys! This year's fun event was not only FUN!!! but had some exceptional tennis matches, especially in the finals matches. Our May 15 &16 Challenge Tournament, Men's Doubles and Mixed Doubles was FUN and exciting to watch. A BIG THANKS to all who participated and to Susan Stephens for her hard work in organzing and executing the tourney. And a BIG THANKS to Sue Maier for helping with the set-up and clean-up, both days.
